GPSC’s 65% unit, GHECO-One, who operates a 660MW coal-fired power plant under IPP scheme received a request for arbitration seeking $309m in damage for canceling coal purchase deal, which GHECO-One’s claims it’s entitled to under the terms of the CSTAs to due to lower demand, yet GPSC may need to set aside Bt7b provision, while the case drags on, negative to share price. WHART holds 35% in Gheco-One.

GUNKUL sees positive 2Q earnings momentum supported by higher power gen efficiency from three windfarms, contribution from EPC solar project, expects to debut IPO of solar contractor subsidiary, Gunkul Power Development (GPD) in 4Q.

Comment: A company perhaps worth tracking.
STARK mulls filing bankruptcy to pave way for debt restructuring, share sales to solve liquidity crunch.
Comment: It’s the only way to go, and it will keep the legal issues away from the firm.
TTCL wins a Bt5b EPC contract to construct bio refinery for pre-treatment & sustainable aviation fuel unit from BSGF.
