BANPU expects coal volume to reach 47mn tons in 2017, based its pre-orders. It expects to expand its customer base in China. It is looking to invest in new mines in Indonesia and Australia this year. It expects to boost its power business to 4,300 MW. (Thun Hoon, 05/04/17)

CSS targets new high for revenue at Bt5bn in 2017, after it won a project for the Green Line. It plans to win more projects from the bidding for the Yellow, Orange, Pink and Red lines. It will join with partners to bid for projects to move power lines underground. (Thun Hoon, 05/04/17)
EKH
EKH expects earnings growth of 8-10% and is planning to open an infertility center in 3Q17, with investment of Bt30mn. The new pediatric center is awaiting EIA approval, and is expected to begin construction in the next few months and open by 2018. (Thun Hoon, 05/04/17)
Comment: It’s a rather sad fact that infertility centers are a booming in Bangkok with people flying in from around the region to receive treatment here as well as several local patients
ECF
ECF will expand its renewable energy business. Its subsidiary ECF Power will invest more than Bt1bn over four years to hold 20% in GEP, a 220MW solar power plant in Myanmar, pending shareholder approval on May 31. (Thun Hoon, 05/04/17)

FPI shareholders approved a dividend of Bt0.1/share, to be paid on April 28. It also approved a debenture issuance worth not more than Bt1bn to finance investment in biomass. Its 7.5MW power plant is expected to start contributing to revenue by 2Q17. (Thun Hoon, 05/04/17)
GLAND
GLAND says its GLANDRT IPO was a success. It expects it to begin trading by April 21. The proceeds from the REIT IPO will be used for debt repayment (>Bt3bn) and working capital. IRPC
IRPC to conclude its plan for the Beyond Everest investment project by 2Q17. It hopes to start the project by 3Q17 and has budgeted over Bt40bn for the project. This project will increase its petrochemical capacity to 1.3mn tons. It expects earnings to improve in 2Q17 with higher EBITDA GIM than last year. (Thun Hoon, 05/04/17)
ITEL
ITEL expects strong results in 1Q17, on the back of an uptrend in the datacenter business with utilization reaching 95%. Watch the shareholder meeting on April 25, where it plans to ask approval for a share split from par of Bt1.0 to Bt0.5 per share to increase trading volume. (Kao Hoon, 05/04/17)

KTB has been chosen by the MoF to provide welfare card services to low-incomers, according to the Comptroller General. The card will be used by those who have registered as lowincomers between April 3 and May 15, 2017. Operations should begin by October 2017. (Prachachart Turakij, 05/04/17)

NCL to turnaround from loss last year at Bt8.18mn. Its subsidiaries will turn profitable as they expand to Indonesia, China and Hong Kong. It targets long-term revenue of Bt3.0bn. It expects growth this year of 10-30%. (Thun Hoon, 5/4/17)
ORI
ORI shareholders approve a stock dividend of 2.50:1 with cash dividend of Bt0.04/share for a total of Bt0.24/share. It will go XD on April 17 and will pay the dividend on May 3. It believes that 2017 revenues and earnings will grow. (Kao Hoon, 5/4/17)
Comment: It’s interesting that stock dividends are now viewed favourably by retail investors as is seen by ORI’s stock price performance, in the past it typically led to a decline.
SAPPE
SAPPE signals good 2Q17 performance since high season is driving revenue and can support 2017 revenue to grow 10-15% or more than Bt3.0bn. It is ready to expand abroad and is open for partners both abroad and at home for an investment or takeover. (Thun Hoon, 5/4/17)

SE to invest Bt40mn to build “Engineering Services Center” to boost revenue. It is expected to generate revenue from the first year at Bt40mn. It expects 1Q17 to have a good performance. It targets 2017 revenue growth of 10% with value in hand of Bt40-50mn. It is thinking of finding new partners to set up new offices and increase sales representatives in the North and South. TFD expects its EIA for Industrial Estate phase 2 to pass on 26 April. This phase is located in EEC. It said that big logistics and automotive business companies are eyeing 840 rai of land on which to set up factories. It said transactions for “The Habour View Residence” reached Bt1.66bn. Comment: The first IPO to not be up in 2.5 years. Well it was a rather large size, and rather fairly priced for 2017.
