AOT
AOT says 3QFY14 passenger traffic contracted 7% due to political problems and seasonality. Its MD expects performance to gradually recover in FY4Q14. It expects passenger traffic and revenue growth of 3%. The second phrase of Suvarnabhumi is waiting for NCPO decision. (Khao Hoon, 30/06/14)

CPF
CPF expects 15% sales growth this, with its foreign trading partners now having a better understanding of the situation in Thailand resuming orders. The company said that the recent allegations of human rights violation had only an indirect impact on the company and this issue is expected soon to be resolved. (Khao Hoon, 30/06/14)
EARTH
EARTH will issue W4 and XW on 2 July with ratio of 2:1 (2 common stocks to 1 warrant) with an exercise price of Bt7 per share. EARTH will be calculated in SET 100, which is expected to make it more interesting to investors. (Khao Hoon, 30/06/14)

MINT
MINT expects better performance in 2Q14 from 1Q14 supported by higher margins and recovery in food business due to a more stable political situation. It is also waiting to book more revenues from its St. Regis project. Overall, net profit is expected to jump 15-20% this year. The company maintains its investment plan of Bt25bn for the year. Comment: Similar to AOT and basically any other service related business in Thailand, everyone will begin to experience a recovery in 2H14, infact all YoY numbers will begin to look good again.
MPG
To resume trading on mai — The SET has removed the reason for possible delisting of MPG and it will resume trading on mai from July 9, 2014. (SET, 30/06/14)
N-PARK
N-PARK: profit to turn around in 2Q14 through to 3Q14 supported by transfer of 70 shop houses and 300 condominium units in Aranyaprathet district. It will sell 20 rai in Bangkrajao district worth more than Bt1bn, helping raise the year’s profits. (Khao Hoon, 30/06/14)
Comment: Sure but it’s still stupidly expensive as a stock.
PTT
PTT share prices went up on news of appointment of board members, with Piyasvasti Amranand, a former energy minister, set to become PTT’s next chairman in July. The company is also hurrying to complete its gas pipeline project 4 by mid-2015. (Khao Hoon, 30/06/14)
RS
180,000 World Cup boxes returned – RS Plc, the broadcast rights holder of the 2014 World Cup, reported that 180,000 buyers of World Cup set-top boxes returned their boxes and claimed a full refund. RS said it would have to pay Bt287mb for the box refund. Each box is priced at Bt1,590. (Bangkok Post, 30/06/14)
Comment: Ah, well with the world cup being free in the end there’s no surprise that some boxes have been returned, but 180,000 of them? Will they have to write off THB 287 mn worth? Last year’s net profit was THB 395 mn. 
TPOLY
TPOLY won work worth Bt1.1bn to build a new power plant, pulling backlog up to Bt3.5bn. The company confirms that revenues this year will grow as targeted by 30% from last year’s Bt2.9bn. It also said that its subsidiary, TPC Power Holdings will be listed in the second half of the year. (Tun Hoon, 30/06/14)
Comment: The listing alone will make the TPOLY interesting to punters.
