AOT to book final flood claim in 2014 — AOT says it will be receiving the remaining compensation for the flooding of Don Muang airport of Bt900mn from total of Bt1bn that it expects to book this year. J.S.P. eyes capital funds from SET- J.S.P. Property plans to mobilize funds from the Thai stock market to buy a land bank for new projects, says chief executive Tanongsak Manotamraksa. KTECH expects 2014 revenue of Bt3.2bn and Bt200mn net profit before it will be traded in June 2014. It has 7seven new investors that are ready to invest via private placement of 145mn shares at Bt1 a share. It will use the funds to service debt. (Khao Hoon, 02/04/14)

MCOT taps income from new services – MCOT is focusing on generating additional revenue from non-broadcast activities, particularly selling set-top boxes, network rental services and event organizing. It intends to sell 1 million boxes this year and have Bt200mn profit and aims to generate Bt6bn this year with 1-2% growth. (Bangkok Post, 02/04/14)

PTTEP plans to lower its stake in Montara project by selling its holdings to any investors offering an attractive price. The company may sell up to 300,000 barrels/day of petroleum in 1Q14. RS will proceed with box sales- The SET-listed RS Plc, which holds the local broadcasting rights to this year’s Fifa World Cup football tournament, insists it will move ahead with its rights management plan and sell World Cup set-top boxes next week after a court ruling in its favour. “The ruling is a good sign for RS, and we’ll stick with our plan to broadcast 22 football matches on two free channels,” said chief executive Surachai Chetchotisak.
