BA and THAI plan to codeshare in order to increase their competitiveness. They estimate this will increase sales by 26%. BA expects revenue from codeshare to increase by 4-5% from the current 20%. Comment: Why is it that only BA and AAV are the decent performing airlines listed in the Thai equity market? Perhaps the lack of government involvement?
 
BIZ
BIZ got a Bt70mn project in Cambodia which will act as a springboard to expand its business in CLMV. Its backlog is Bt350mn which can cover revenue until 2018. It continues to take part in both public and private bids. (Kao Hoon, 11/04/17)

RATCH

Comment: Think there’s a typo in this news release…now this property company is a bit different as they are focused on the Southern region. Could this become a decent proxy play?
  1. Handshake agreement and brown paper envelops to the big wigs at the ALRO? The ALRO head did reiterate it again on radio but I guess EA must be confident of the decision in the absence of an official letter etc..
