BCH is budgeting Bt2.4bn for a 3-year investment plan. It plans to set up four new hospitals and renovate seven. It is studying investing in a hospital in Laos in mid-2017 with capital investment of Bt1bn. Comment: They still haven’t made a return on WMC and now they are going ahead with an expansion, I do wonder how long it is until we see a hospital REIT from one of these players. 
 
DTAC
DTAC reported 1Q17 net profit of Bt229mn, down 82% because of higher depreciation expense from expanding its network. It is budgeting Bt17-20bn this year to expand its network. (Kao Hoon, 21/04/17)

GLOW
GLOW is talking to a party to take part in renewable energy in Malaysia and Vietnam. It expects the talks to be finalized in mid-2017. It is studying investing in hydropower plants in Myanmar. KIAT targets 2017 revenue of Bt900mn, 10% growth, aided by more projects. It expanded its business to provide service and equipment for accident prevention. It targets this to contribute sale of 1,500 units in the first year. It expects 1Q17 performance to be good. (Kao Hoon, 21/04/17)

PRANDA
PRANDA expects to show a net profit this year with 20% revenue growth. It expects 1Q17 exports to grow 40%. It continues to focus on Scandinavia and Russia via expanding its brand. (Kao Hoon, 21/04/17)

RATCH
RATCH is budgeting Bt300bn for a ten-year investment plan and plans to increase its generating capacity by 7,000MW. It expects this year to achieve its target capacity of 7,500MW. It is also looking for an acquisition opportunity. (Kao Hoon, 21/04/17)

UBIS
UBIS expects plant in China to operate in 2Q17 and to contribute revenue of Bt300-350mn, backed by high demand. It targets 2017 sales to grow 20% from last year’s Bt853.97mn. It plans to expand to Africa and South Asia. (Thun Hoon, 21/04/17)
WIIK
WIIK targets 2017 revenue growth of 20% on the strength of a larger customer base. It plans to take part in upcoming projects which are expected to push up its backlog. It expects to sign a contract with the PWA for a Bt300mn project soon. (Thun Hoon, 21/04/17)
