MC plans to hold a roadshow in Hong Kong. It is looking for prospective Chinese partner, which is expected to be concluded by 4Q16. It is budgeting Bt150mn for new branch launching and office renovation to achieve revenue growth target of 15% in 2016 (Thun Hoon, 22/01/16)
Comment: Still am not convinced by their multi product multi brand approach and their #’s have proven so thus far.
MCOT
MCOT plans to improve its rating by doubling investment in content business, bringing this year investment budget to Bt2bn. It set 2016 revenue growth target at 14%. (Khao Hoon, 22/01/16)
Comment: Unfortunately for MCOT 1) they are a government owned operation so there’s not much the CEO can do to quickly turnaround the business 2) The digital TV industry has issues like no tomorrow which is hurting everybody!
PERM
PERM expects 2016 revenue to grow more than 10% and net profit to turn around this year due to an increase in capacity of 2 plants. It is negotiating with a partner in Australia to invest in solar cells. This will be finalized by 1H16. (Thun Hoon, 22/01/16)

SYNEX
