BANPU offers 5 series of new bonds in May for debt repayment & working cap, 2.9%-3.1% for maturity of 2.3y, 3.5%-3.6% for 5.9y, 3.7%-3.8% for 7y, 4%-4.1% for 10y, 4.15%-4.25% for 12y.
Comment: I’m curious how the take up for this will be. Seems a bit low.
CENTEL expects FY24 avg daily room rate between Bt5.5k-5.7k vs Bt5.1k in FY23 after added more luxury hotels in portfolio, target FY24 OCC >73%, Bt24B revenue target, sets Bt6.5b capex for hotels & F&B expansion, adding 2 properties in Maldives (cod in Nov & 2025) to seize opportunity from opening of Maldives International airport in 4Q24.
Comment: Tourism ISN’T an issue anywhere in the world ex mainlainders. The 1-2 asset owner still hasn’t come back to operations, the chain’s are lapping up all this demand and minting it.
JPARK seeks to expand Parking Management Services (PMS) & consulting & installing parking system (CIPS) to expand margin from outsource parking facilities, target 40k parking slots under management by end of year from 29,562 slots at end of FY23.
Comment: Just makes sense and one day they could put this all into a REIT. Now the only question is which contracts were made with friends at stupid prices just to pump the IPO? (if this exists…though I suspect it does)
ITD, suspended since Mar 1, 2024, confirmed report that it’s in talks with banks for new loans to tide over liquidity crisis that led to delayed payments to some workers and contractors.
Comment: Ahhhh our Royal Panther killer is back in the news that his construction co is broke…no surprises right? Lets see if SCB and friends come together again to save him.. Think about it we have ITD (commercial bank loans – THB 100 bn) and MQDC (Commercial paper – THB 100 bn) – so THB 200 bn to be rolled this year by these two amazingly well run companies.
