Comment: BANPU’s stock price has followed that of coal prices in the past 5 years, declining from its peak of nearly THB 83 baht/share to where it is today, the continued shift of strategy to power plants is a natural move for them.

DTAC targets increasing prepaid subscribers by 60%. It has launched a marketing campaign “new smartphone with SIM Happy” which is expected to add more than 300,000 subscribers within three months. (Khao Hoon, 22/06/15)

EMC
EMC expects to show a net profit this year backed by booking property revenue of Bt1.06mn. It plans to open two new projects valued at Bt1.6mn in 2H15. It targets sales of Bt2.6mn. It plans to purchase Bt2bn in property and bid for Bt700mn in government projects this year. (Khao Hoon, 22/06/15)

JUBILE
2H15 earnings expected to be good aided by seasonality. It plans to open 6-8 outlets upcountry and is working on a plan to invest abroad. It is dealing with partner to introduce new product which is expected to be finalized in 2H15. (Thun Hoon, 22/06/15)

PERM
PERM will book extra gain of Bt105mn in 2Q15. It plans to sell solar cells and will book the revenue in 4Q15. It targets 10% growth in 2015 revenue with net profit. (Khao Hoon, 22/06/15)

PHOL
PHOL expects to get a government project – antiseptic masks against MERS. It plans to work with a partner to introduce a new product that is expected to broaden its customer base. It targets 20% revenue growth in 2015. (Thun Hoon, 22/06/15)
Comment: I wonder what the relationship is here with the government, and if true re the project then its just a short term bump

PS
PS introduces The Plant Elite, a premium project for high-end clients. The Plant Elite Pattanakarn, valued at Bt9.7mn, will be the first of this brand. (Thun Hoon, 22/06/15)

SUPER
SUPER gets PPA for 123MW and expects to get 500MW more to lift its total to 600MW within this year. SUPER will move to trade in the Energy sector, effective on July 2. (Khao Hoon, 22/06/15)
Comment: The change in SUPER’s business model has been dramatic to say the least. 600 MW is no small amount.

TSE
TSE plans to set up 100MW solar power plant abroad in 2016, expected to increase to 300MW in three years. It is working with a Japanese company to set up a 25MW solar farm in which it expects to invest Bt2.5mn in the first phase. The power plant is expected to run next year and is expected to generate revenue of Bt300mn each year. (Thun Hoon, 22/06/15)
Comment: The funniest thing I’ve read about TSE recently is that they are trading “cheaply” at THB 143mn/MW (EV/MW) whereas most listed names are trading at ~THB 180/MW despite the fact they don’t have that many actual projects up and running

UREKA
UREKA has introduced a new product that is expected to provide revenue of Bt360mn. Its order is Bt120mn and expects to get 30% of a new Bt250mn job. (Thun Hoon, 22/06/15)

VNG
VNG plans to invest in a 9.9MW biomass power plant with a Japanese company; the deal is is expected to be concluded in July. It plans to expand its business by via takeovers, new product launches and new markets. It is confident 2Q15 profit will mark a record high. (Thun Hoon, 22/06/15)
