CNT received new work worth Bt6bn on top of the existing Bt9bn backlog. The company is looking to partner up for bidding on private and public projects. EA
EA expects 2Q17 to be strong due to high season for the solar business. The company will receive an additional 45 MW in wind power which will start up in June. This is put total capacity to 404 MW. The company is going ahead with a 260 MW in Chaiyaphum province worth Bt2bn. The project is expected to COD in 2018. The company will finalize its partner for the battery project and location within this year. (Thun Hoon, 26/06/2017)
Comment: This battery project has driven the share price of EA in the past few months, even I’m curious about it, because the biggest issue with renewable energy has been the storage of excess power generated.
GL
GL reported that its Singaporean client will increase its collateral to 148% of remaining loan. Management is looking to make more acquisitions in order to expand its business base. It expects 2Q17 performance to be strong supported by special dividend from GLH worth Bt346mn. Other businesses in Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka are also doing well. GPSC

ILINK
ILINK and INET will compete for the Mobile Signal and High Speed Internet for 3,920 Villages project worth Bt13.6bn. ITEL will also participate in the project. There is also a Bt7.2bn project for the power line grounding. ILINK expects revenue to grow 20% this year. INET, a leader in cloud solution and internet, expects revenue to grow 30% in 2017. JWD
JWD is benefiting from the recovery in export demand. Management expects 2H17 to be strong. The company is adjusting its strategy to focus more on the Less Container Load Freight Consolidation (LCL) after receiving positive feedback from clients.
