BAY
BAY targets SME loans growth of 3.8% this year, raising loans to Bt160bn. 2017 loan growth will be lower than last year’s 14% because it will focus on credit quality. It expects bad debt to be lower than last year in line with economic recovery. It targets to be the main bank for customers. It wants to support the government’s e-payment system. Comment: I was ranting to friends the other day, that despite interest rates being at record lows, its close to impossible as individual to taken advantage of it. And yet despite the thai banks relatively high interest rates (mortgages are still 6-7% p.a. yes yes with a 1-3 year period of loan rates, but still ridiculously high) and focus upon “credit quality” NPL’s and bad debts are still quite high.
BTS
BTS sees a positive outlook for the next four years from train operations covering 141km. It expects revenue to increase three-fold from FY2016-2-17’s Bt8bn. It recently signed a Bt161bn contract to operate the MRT Green Line (North-South). It also expects to sign contracts for the MRT Pink and Yellow Lines in May. CENTEL expects 1Q17 performance to be better than 4Q16 thanks to a higher occupancy rate. It is budgeting Bt2.5bn for business expansion in both hotel and food units. (Thun Hoon, 04/04/17)

CHG expects 1H17 performance to be good on the back of 60-70% patient growth. It plans to expand its beds in 2Q17. It expects its spa business to be good with a high margin. It expects 2017 revenue growth to hit target of 15-20%. It is looking for an acquisition. (Thun Hoon, 04/04/17)
CPF
CPF acquired Westbridge Food Group Limited in U.K. for Bt2.6bn. It expects this transaction to be done within April. (Thun Hoon, 04/04/17)

CWT
CWT got car seat orders for four models from two Japanese car producers. It expects cooperative solar farm and biomass power plants to operate in this year. It continues to invest in alternative energy. (Kao Hoon, 04/04/17)

EASTW expects 1H17 performance to be good on seasonality and robust outlook for supplying tap water in industrial estates. It is looking for a new client segment. It expects 2017 sales to be higher than 282 cubic meters. (Thun Hoon, 04/04/17)
Comment: Just like TTW, steady steady. It’s interesting that water, is the only utility that the government has once tried to wave its magic hand at to force for lower prices (i.e. electricity, tollways, trains etc)
EGCO

NEWS sees a robust business outlook with double-digit growth. It is looking for a partner to be an organizer abroad to boost revenue. It plans to offer PP to foreign partners and will use the Bt300-400mn it expects to get for working capital of. (Thun Hoon, 04/04/17)
ROJNA
