BRR
BRR sets IPO price at Bt6.80/share, a 25.27% discount from its fair value. Subscription period will be October 29-31, and it will start trading on November 6. Management said the proceeds will be used to repay loans and as working capital. Net profit for this year is expected to grow in double digits from last year. (Kao Hoon, 28/10/14)
Comment: Buriram Sugar is one the largest sugar firms left to IPO in Thailand. Expect the usual stories of biomass for power generation.

CCP
CCP expects good earnings in 2015 as it will book large extra income. Management reports large backlog of Bt2.4-2.5bn from public double-track railway in the east and expects revenue growth of 10% YoY in 2014 as it booked extra income of Bt200mn in 3Q14. DELTA
DELTA reported 3Q14 net profit of Bt1.95bn, up 18.6% YoY, pushing 9M14 profit to Bt4.84bn.The stronger earnings were driven by higher sales of telecom power supplies, which increased by 16% YoY. (Kao Hoon, 28/10/14)
Comment: DELTA has been reporting impressive numbers in the past 12 months.

DEMCO
DEMCO is preparing to raise capital by Bt2bn for business expansion. The company will conclude construction of waste power plants with 16MW capacity in early 2015. It is bidding for 1,400MW solar power plants, and expects to get 10-15% of the total. The company targets revenue of Bt5-6bn or growth of 5-10% p.a. in 2015-16. (Thun Hoon, 28/10/14)
Comment: Wouldn’t be surprised to see an RO or a PP to an investment group.

HEMRAJ, WHA
HEMRAJ, WHA deny report as bourse halts their trade – Hemaraj Land and Development (HEMRAJ) and Wha Corporation have dismissed media reports that they are involved in acquisition talks. WHA yesterday denied reports that the SET-listed developer of warehouses and distribution centres was negotiating to acquire another listed company with market capitalisation of around Bt50bn and the deal is expected to seek approval from the company board next month. Comment: This was all over people’s thoughts last night and this AM, HEMRAJ still publicly denying it.

JAS
JAS to set up its infrastructure fund this year. It expects to book revenue of Bt30bn from the sale of assets to the fund. The CEO said the funds will be used for investment, for loan repayment and as dividends. It says next year it will invest Bt7bn to expand its fibre optic network in the country. It has set a target of 2mn in broadband clients and EBITDA of no less than Bt6bn. (Kao Hoon, 28/10/14)

KBS
KBS expects a turnaround in its business next year supported by recovery in sugar prices and the start of revenue from its biomass power plant. (Kao Hoon, 28/10/14)

PCA
PCA expects set-top box sales of 50,000 boxes per month and 400,000 boxes in eight months, the total period for this project. The company will invest Bt25mn in a new marketing campaign. (Kao Hoon, 28/10/14)

PYLON
PYLON said 3Q14 earnings are better than expected due to the continuous workflow. It plans to invest Bt150mn to buy more piling machinery and will bid for new work worth Bt1.8bn before yearend. (Kao Hoon, 28/10/14)

RWI
RWI plans to increase production capacity by 80% in 2015 after increasing capital to fund the purchase of new machinery. The company expects to be in the top three steel wire producers and targets revenue growth of 30% YoY in 2015. (Kao Hoon, 28/10/14)
Comment: I’ve always liked capacity expansion stories for manufacturings, especially the smaller ones given the impact on EPS growth.

SMM
SMM will release financial statement on 15 November and expects sharp earnings growth YoY from Bt1.9mn in 3Q13 due to 2014 FIFA World Cup and Asian Games. The company expects revenue growth of 12% YoY in 2014 as its media business continues to grow. It has invested Bt100mn into outdoors broadcast cars. (Thun Hoon, 28/10/14)

TOG
TOG expects 2014 revenue of Bt1.9bn, up 17% YoY. It has set a target for next year at Bt2.1bn, up 11% YoY. It plans to invest Bt120mn to increase its production capacity by 10-15% to 2.2-2.3mn lenses per year. (Kao Hoon, 28/10/14)

TRUEIF
TRUEGIF will share telecom network facilities with DTAC – The True Telecommunications Growth Infrastructure Fund (TRUEGIF) set up by True Corporation has signed a network sharing contract with its bigger rival Total Access Communication (DTAC) to rent its telecommunications network facilities for three years for an undisclosed value. DTAC follows TOT Plc in sharing the fund’s telecom infrastructure, a TRUEGIF source said. (Bangkok Post, 28/10/14)
Comment: This is the only way both TRUEIF and DTAC could contain to grow, DTAC needs the spectrum and TRUE has plenty to share around
