SCC expects 2018 sales to come in lower than targeted due to a stronger THB and higher costs in line with rising fuel prices. The petrochemical complex in Vietnam is expected to start construction in 2H18. Its 1Q18 earnings were Bt12.4bn, -29%, dragged down by a stronger THB. (Khao Hoon, 26/4/18)
